Speaking Engagement: Law Society of Upper Canada (LSUC) and Ontario Bar Association (OBA) Joint CASL Program

Earlier today, along with a peer from another law firm, I spoke at a CASL program that was organized jointly by the Law Society of Upper Canada (LSUC) and the Ontario Bar Association (OBA).

The program was entitled “Countdown to Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation: Make Sure You Are Ready,” and my presentation was entitled “What CASL Means for Law Firms/Legal Practices”.  During my presentation, my co-speaker and I discussed: (i) common activities that may fall within CASL’s purview; and (ii) tailored strategies for law firms to stay compliant while continuing their business development efforts.
